Established in 2023, FOREST PASS BREWING is in the small town of Dallas, Oregon, which rests at the base of the eastern slope of the Oregon Coast range. For over 150 years, the Coast Range and its world-renowned forest have been a source of economic and recreational vitality for the local communities in its rain shadow. To this day, this majestic area of Coast Range and wilderness offers the adventure of exploring and discovering one of Oregon’s true natural treasures...it's the inspiration of exploration and the connection to the scenic beauty and the communities that thrive here that are the backdrop of the FOREST PASS BREWING story. It’s a story comprised of more than a century of families, friends, and adventures…much of which remains untold.

Jeff has over 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur. He owns a successful small business, which focuses on building honest, long-term relationships with customers and employees. With a bachelor’s degree in business management from Willamette University (GO Bearcats!) and 16 years as a PGA Golf Professional, Jeff has gained the knowledge and has seen what can be accomplished with clear communication and consistent, high-level customer service. Jeff has spent the past several years studying the chemistry and art of craft beers, putting together a diverse portfolio of unique, consistent, and memorable flavors and recipes that will be the foundation of a truly differentiated experience for craft beer lovers. Jeff was born, educated, and has lived in the Willamette Valley for almost 50 years. Enjoying the rivers, the mountains, the people, and the vast local craft beers, Jeff has found a passion for adventure. He wants to bring this passion to our local Polk County, Oregon community by creating and serving the highest quality craft beer, prioritizing customer service and community support. Jeff lives in Dallas, Oregon with his wife Kristin, their boxer Maya, and two chickens.
Bill is an experienced business leader in the areas of marketing, strategy, and business management. Bill enjoys all the outdoor activities that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, as well as watching his kids play competitive sports. He also has a passion for finding and experiencing unique, local craft beer throughout the Northwest and wants to bring that same unique experience back to his local community and those who visit it. Bill’s expertise is in developing business strategy, planning, and execution that consistently delivers on business objectives with an unparalleled customer experience. Bill graduated with honors in political science/business administration from UCLA and holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Oregon, Lundquist College of Business. Prior to his current role, Bill spent 20 years in the technology industry, including 15 years with Hewlett-Packard (HP), holding several marketing and strategy positions during his tenure. While at HP, he played a key leadership role in launching and growing several successful internal start-up businesses. Bill resides with his wife Laura and two children just outside the small but growing town of Dallas, Oregon.

JOB SUMMARY
-This position requires a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and a genuine interest in craft brewing, being an integral part of a team, a reliable and effective communicator, and a commitment to taking pride in your work
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

-Follow and adhere to the company's alcohol service model & guidelines
-Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures
-Effectively and reliably execute all daily tasks as assigned, including all opening, daily, and closing checklists
-Follow and adhere to the company standards and customer service model expectations and procedures
-Have or develop knowledge for accurately speaking about and effectively serving craft beer
-Have or develop knowledge to prep, cook, and serve great craft pizza and food items
-Reliable attendance for all assigned shifts

EXPERIENCE
-Customer service experience
-Craft beer and/or industry knowledge a plus
-Food prep experience a plus
JOB REQUIREMENTS
-Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
-Valid driver’s license in the State of Oregon, proof of insurance and a clean driving record
-Reliable transportation for work
-Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening, weekends, and holidays
-Pass testing for mandatory local Alcohol Service Permit certification within 2 weeks of employment
-Obtain Oregon Food Handlers Card within 2 weeks of employment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
-Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements frequently
-Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis
-Must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat)
-Must be able to work in hot, cold, and wet environments
-Must be able to navigate walkway ramps and occasionally lift 50 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
